Seattle July 2007

I mostly took 3D photos. But for now here are a few 2D snaps from my digital camera.

Seattle Center fairground reflected in the side of Frank Gehry's Experience Music Project building.

The Space Needle peeping out between monorail track and Experience Music Project. It was like being on the set of the Jetsons.

The Space Needle from Puget Sound.

Marcus tries to ride home after a night on the town.

Johnny Depp Pig (Arrrrggg!)

Wall of Gum out side The Market Theater...
"Oh Dear God! I think I'm going to throw-up".

Paul makes light of the fact that the church courtyard has been turned into a construction site. Adrienne demonstrates essential headwear for guests. (Yes the church really did start major construction work days before the wedding).

Marcus and Geoff blissfully unaware who is at the wheel of the boat they are on. I won't mention who let me drive or which boat, because I want to check the captain really was permitted by the owners to hand over the controls (of what must be a fairly expensive boat) to fat old goths. But I am extremely grateful to Captain X for giving me this chance.

Fiona ponders using her camera as a flotation aid as news spreads that Mark will soon be at the helm.

Yes I really did get to handle this big boat.

Happy as a pig in....

The real captain took over to get us in and out of the lock.

However I was permitted to steer the boat under this bridge. You have to go through dead centre because there is only 12 inches clearance between the top of that arch and the top of the boat.

Old gasworks as "Art". I want to visit this close up when I next visit Seattle.

It's not just other boats you have to avoid around here.
